TDK offers Wafer Type Axial Check Valves specifically designed for fast-reversing systems where backflow is a constant concern .Spring loaded Double Guided Disc ensure immediate stoppage of flow before pump stops completely .This prevents flow reversal & water hammer, and ensure Valve close rapidly without slamming.

METHOD OF OPERATION

When differential pressure between the upstream and downstream side of the valve exceeds cracking pressure of the spring, the Disc will move and thus allow flow. As flow decelerates in the pipeline, the forces acting on the disc are reduced, and hence spring is able to overcome these smaller forces leading to valve closure. Short displacement of the disc combined with axial spring assistance greatly reduces the response time giving a fast slam-free response with minimal reverse flow.
These are ideal Check Valve for purging steam / gas in to existing corrosive flow media handling pipe lines.
TDK offers these Axial Check Valve with Valve Seat in PTFE / TFM / Polymer with Valve Body /Disc in all Exotic Alloys like HAESTALLOY C-22, R-55, S.S904-L , ALLOY-20, DUPLEX S.S.316/S.S.316-L.
